Christian and Jessica Loewen are thrilled that God has brought them to OBBC and are expectant for the things that He has in store for this church family as we all look forward to the day of His return.

This is their first ministry assignment as a couple, but they each grew up in a minister's home and have had opportunities to grow in different ministry callings their whole lives.

Their heart and desire is to come alongside our church family and pursue the first commandment together: loving Jesus with everything we have. They desire to encourage healing and restoration in the Body and speak timely words of truth, pointing the Body to our sufficient Saviour. 
 
Jessica is currently at the U of W where she is pursuing a career as a teacher. She is passionate about working with children and design of all kinds.
 
Christian enjoys meeting new people, exploring new places and leading worship. One of his favourite places to be is in a prayer room.

Pastor John Reimer

John and Connie Reimer are our part-time, shepherding, mentoring, and counselling pastoral couple.

They come with a wide range of life experiences in pastoral and missionary service. They have served three different congregations as a pastoral couple and have been in Nicaragua and, most recently, Mexico, doing 'life on life' church planting.

They have three married children and four grandchildren who are living in Winnipeg and in Perth, Australia.

John loves the outdoors, mountain biking, hiking, running and birding. Connie enjoys cooking, music and teaching.

Youth Leaders
A wonderful team of College & Career age young adults that have already been involved as leaders in our VBS program and are active at OBBC in a variety of ways have stepped up into leadership roles to run a Jr Youth program. One youth said, "They're the best leaders ever because they compete in all the games and activities with us and make it hard to win!"

Outreach and Missions Ministry Team
Purpose statement:  For our church, missions includes spending the majority of our time, energy and resources on outreach in our local context, while also proactively participating in God’s call to world missions as a means of fulfilling the great commission and discipling members of our church family.
Role of the Missions Team:  The role of our church missions team is to raise the bar for missions in our church by empowering church members to become active participants in God’s mission to the world through awareness, prayer, giving and hands-on involvement.  The team meets regularly throughout the year.
