Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Africa seeks to bring Jesus Christ, care, love, protection, basic necessities, and education to orphaned and impoverished children. Their goal is to take children out of poverty and give them the hope that only Jesus can give. They strive to help their children develop the character, the confidence, and the skills they will need to succeed in the workplace and to provide for themselves, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on project that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes packed by Canadians. Harvest Manitoba is a not-for-profit, community based organization. Our goals are to collect and share surplus food with people who are hungry and to offer training opportunities to help people step up and out of poverty. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for food banks in our community.
